Located in the South Pacific, Papua New Guinea is one of the most culturally diverse nations in the world, with hundreds of languages and distinct tribal communities. While the majority of the population identifies as Christian, many areas remain spiritually and geographically isolated. Through our church presence in Papua New Guinea, we are partnering with local believers to strengthen discipleship, equip leaders, and bring the hope of the Gospel to remote and unreached communities.

About the Director

Rev. Nonoy Tan

Herminio "Nonoy" Tan, Sr. is the National Director of PFWB Southern Philippines. Nonoy encountered God in 1996 and followed God's call into ministry. He is a pastor and has served as a district supervisor of the local churches, PFWB National Director in the Southern Philippines since 2021 and has served as the Lead Pastor at La Roca Church in Davao City since 2016.

Nonoy has been married to his wife Helen for over 39 years and they have 3 children, Aiken, Chester and Herminio Jr. His vision is to plant more churches the Southern Philippines.

He oversees 1 church in Papua New Guinea and 140 churches in the Southern Philippines.

Nonoy asked that we pray for good health, guidance in ministry, his family's unity in serving the Lord, family finances, and that God will bless his country with opened minds and opened doors.
