Youth Mental Health 1st Aid Class
Did you know that 1 in 5 teens & young adults live with a mental health condition?
Did you know that 64.1% of youth with major depression do not receive any mental health treatment?
How can we help?
We are offering a Youth Mental Health First Aid Class that will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2020. This class will teach you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders. This training gives adults who work with youth the skills they need to reach out and provide initial support to adolescents (ages 12-18) who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem and help connect them to the appropriate care.
This will operate on a Blended Class Schedule,
which means there will be 2 hours of Pre-Work that will have to be completed before you attend the Live Class on October 31, 2020.
