Women’s Ministry Banquet 2020

Greetings Ladies,

It is with great joy and anticipation that I write to you today. What, you might ask, do I
have to be joyful about! We have seen the chaos that is going on in our nation, our state
and even our own homes. So how can we have joy in all the turmoil?

Ladies, we have a Sovereign God and He is our strength. Just as Habakkuk the
prophet saw everything around him failing, his faith and trust in God never wavered.
But he declared in Habakkuk 3:18, “Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God
my Savior.”

I want to challenge each one of us to find that place of joy that only comes from having
that intimate relationship with Him. And when we find that peace and rest in Him, we
can anticipate that He will meet us right where we are. We will learn to “grow through,
what you go through” (borrowed from a friend). And as we grow, we are becoming the
women of God that He has called us to be.

I would like to share the information concerning our Women’s Ministries Banquet that
was scheduled for April 17, 2020. Due to the uncertainty and the spread of the
Coronavirus, we as a board felt that it would be wise to postpone the Banquet until a
later date. We would never want to jeopardize the safety and wellbeing of any of our
ladies. We will revisit this decision at a later date and then make you aware of the new
date in plenty of time for you to plan your calendars accordingly.

have any questions. I look forward to seeing all of you at the Women’s Ministries
Banquet after we weather this storm! And I believe we will come out on the other side
as victors! May God continue favoring you with His blessings.
