DESCRIPTION:  \nDid you know that 1 in 5 teens & young adults live with a mental health condition? \nDid you know that 64.1% of youth with major depression do not receive any mental health treatment? \nHow can we help? \nWe are offering a Youth Mental Health First Aid Class that will be held on Saturday\, October 31\, 2020. This class will teach you how to identify\, understand and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders.  This training gives adults who work with youth the skills they need to reach out and provide initial support to adolescents (ages 12-18) who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem and help connect them to the appropriate care.  \n  \n \nThis will operate on a Blended Class Schedule\, \nwhich means there will be 2 hours of Pre-Work that will have to be completed before you attend the Live Class on October 31\, 2020. \nFor more information or questions please contact Jessica at 910-892-4161 or jessica@pfwb.org. \n  DEADLINE TO SIGN UP IS OCTOBER 18TH!!!
